Urtica (wheal)

Localized plateau-like rising caused by increased capillary permeability of the cutis; inflammatory irritant edema. It is very characteristic for loose cell tissues such as can be found in the face, the tongue, the lips or the larynx.

Therefore we share our clinical features with Paedriatricians, Medical Practitioners and Paediatric Dentists and we hope it will be helpful in distinguishing one lesion from another as a part of the diagnostic process. We have set our priority to lesions in children and adolescents and we hope this set focus will stress and develop cooperation.
